This is my blog, A Green and Rosie Life, which is all about helping you live life that bit greener without having to build an off-grid log cabin in the woods or knit your own nettle fibre undies! It's about helping you make simple changes that together will make a big difference to our beautiful world and make it a better place for our children.
Haha I have never seen a pig play football.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photo - just perfect for a children's book about a footballing piggy :)
ReplyDeleteLove this photo!! We visited a pig farm last week - they may be my new favorite animal :))
ReplyDeleteThe newest member of the Eco-gîtes household? Does she play football?!!
ReplyDeletehalf time rest?
ReplyDeletehappy christmas x
lol poor piggy worn out from all that football. Merry christmas
ReplyDelete@Pinkoddy - it was a first for me too!
ReplyDelete@Claire - hmmm - wonders if I have time to write a children's book?!
@Laura - I saw your photo - your little lad looked like he was in love with the pig too. They are very high on my list of favourite animals along with hippos and hares!
@Phoebe - she is Coco Chanel, our newest pig. Rather than playing football I think she was feeling rather lonely, not being with her sisters any more and with our other 3 being a bit mean to her so the ball was her "friend"!
@JollyJilly - more like worn out from running away from the other pigs who were being rather rotten to her. They have all settled down now I am pleased to say. As I said to Phoebe, I think the ball was her "friend"!
Brilliant - love this. Looks like the pig is guarding the ball :)
ReplyDeleteHow funny - maybe we should try a football with our pigs on the farm.
ReplyDelete@Charly - she may well be guarding her ball or using it to protect herself from the other pigs who were slightly bullying her :( (They've all settled down now).
ReplyDeleteLove pigs and never seen one quite like this. Does she have a footballer name?
ReplyDelete@Fiona - let me know how you get on! What breed of pigs do you have?
ReplyDelete@Kate - she's a Kune Kune, a New Zealand breed and perfect for us. They are smaller than many breeds, eat grass without digging too much and are really friendly so great when we have gite guests in ... and they love a cuddle (the pigs ... I can't vouch for gite guests!. She doesn't have a football name however,, she is called Coco Chanel :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow! He/she is super cute! Xx
ReplyDelete@Joanna - thank you. She is Coco Chanel :)
ReplyDeleteOh a footballing pig!! Made ms smile!
ReplyDeleteGlad I made you smile Fozia :)
