Welcome to Animal Tales, the blog linky that brings together all sorts of animal blog posts from all over the world. It runs from Tuesday morning thought to Friday night and showcases a wide range of animal related posts.
Some Animal Updates
Remember the suicidal turkey? She has made an almost 100% recovery and just has a very slight limp. She and the others are now shut in at night where they cannot get to high perches!
Remember the disappearing chicken? I think I have finally got her to go to bed in the shed rather than the hedge by walking her in there for several evenings in a row. Phew.
Remember how Saari was waiting for a friend? She is pleased to announce she has a doggy friend staying for 2 weeks and is amazed at her story - she was born in Guadeloupe in The Caribbean but now lives in rural Normandy!
So over to you now. Feel free to come and add your animal related posts to the linky below. The posts can be old or new and as varied as the animals who we share our world with. If you tweet with the hashtag #AnimalTales I'll retweet you. Just give me a nudge if I appear to have forgotten you.
Full details of the linky can be found here but can I remind people of a couple of the "rules":
- Please can you comment on at least 2 other blogs linked up - that is, after all the whole purpose of joining a linky to find and comment on more blogs and hopefully drive traffic back to your blog.
- Please can you include my badge (preferably) or a link back to this blog.
- Pinterest - not a rule but for even greater exposure of your blog post please do join the Animal Tales Pinterest board and pin a picture from your linked posts.
- Can I remind people not to add sponsored posts or paid-for reviews. Eco-Gites of Lenault has no advertising on it and I am not comfortable promoting products or companies I know nothing about.
PLEASE NOTE:
There will be no Animal Tales for the next two weeks as I am away in England on holiday. The next one will be November 3rd when you'll be welcome to add more than one post if you want.
Lovely to see Saari has a friend
ReplyDeleteThey do get on very well and we will meet up for walks when my friends are back as they live locally.
DeleteIt's good to hear that suicidal turkey and chicken little are better then last reported. I bet Saari is thrilled to have some company, someone new to teach all her naughty habits too.
ReplyDeleteI think the naughtiness is a bit both ways. I call them when they are outside, both look at me, then each other and then ignore me! Finally one gives in and comes and the other reluctantly follows. (Unless it is dinner time of course and then they are both there as fast a lightening!)
DeleteThat is good news about Saari - I hope she has fun. Good news on your turkey and chicken too. Thanks for hosting x
ReplyDeleteThank you, Victoria and thank you for adding your lovely seagull photos.
DeleteDogs are like children. When they go quiet they're probably doing something they shouldn't. I bet Saari is loving having a friend to stay. xx
ReplyDeleteHa ha - so true! Thanks for joining in with #AnimalTales and I'll have a read later.
DeleteGood to read those happy conclusions and so pleased you liked our linked post last week :) Have a safe journey and a lovely holiday over here - do you have any idea how scary it is to see November written down already?!
ReplyDeleteYes, November ... surely that can't be right?
Deletegood to hear Saari has a new friend for a few weeks and that the Turkey has made a full recovery just in time for Christmas
ReplyDeleteLOL, yes, her time with us may not be too much longer!
DeleteGlad to hear the chicken and turkey situations are resolved and that Saari has a new friend! 😄
ReplyDeleteMe too :)
