Lovely light shining through. It could almost be the middle of summer! (If only)
ReplyDeleteI took another one in the other direction and it did look just like summer with an amazing blue sky .. but I though people may not believe that I took the picture in December!
DeleteThat's a really beautiful photo, love it.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sarah - I wasn't sure it would work but I was really pleased with the result too. I am a great fan of ornamental grasses especially in winter when there are fewer plants strutting their stuff as it were.
DeletePretty - lovely sky
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful grasses xx
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely-I do like ornamental grasses, especially when they are swaying in the breeze.
ReplyDeleteA pretty picture. I love seeing how the sunrays change pictures x #silentsunday
ReplyDeletethat sure looks warmer than it actually is..
ReplyDeleteExactly right Jeanie- it was sunny but rather cold too!
DeleteThat looks like it could be in a very hot country!
ReplyDeleteoh wow i am so wishing i was looking at that in real life instead of shivering here!
ReplyDeleteTake it from me Jaime, it was not warm when I took that photo although it was sunny which therefore gave the illusion of summer rather than December.
DeleteWhat a beautiful shot of the sun coming through the leaves.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot! I also love ornamental grasses as they seem to manage every season
ReplyDeleteWow.. I could see or I could imagine how comfortable you were while taking this shot. I probably would be if it was me. ♥
ReplyDeleteI love it. :>
I really like the framing of this shot, with the grasses all high up, it's like a magical fairy land.
ReplyDeleteLove the beautiful sunlight coming through
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up
Love this photo, I can just imagine laying under them and looking up at the sky. Obviously in warmer weather ;0)
ReplyDeleteWhat a chill photo. I imagine myself lying on the grass while looking at the sky! Nice! #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful sky....It looks so warm x
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't though!
DeleteOh, it's so unfair to publish such a gorgeous, warm photo when I'm stuck in Oxfordshire in the freezing cold! It's a lovely shot, you have a good eye for a photo
ReplyDelete#SundayPhoto
It wasn't warm at all - it was sunny and just a few degrees above freezing!
DeleteIt's funny, this photo looks very summery and wam and it seems most commenters think the same but unless you've pulled out an old photo I'm guessing it wasn't warm or exotic as it's tagged Flers and I know that isn't warm or exotic! It's a great photo though! Thanks for helping me out this Sunday :-)
ReplyDeleteDeceptive isn't it? I took it outside the rugby club (just round the corner from where we sat and had coffee) on a sunny but very cold day. It wasn't warm at all and sadly this is as exotic as Flers in Normandy, northern France gets! No problem with Sunday - once I got it right!
DeleteOh apparently I think this looks "wam"! See what a beady eye I have for "exoticisms"?! Flers rugby club, très exotique!
DeleteBeautiful! #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteAhh sunshine. Lovely photo x
