  7. @Pinkoddy - it was a first for me too!
    @Claire - hmmm - wonders if I have time to write a children's book?!
    @Laura - I saw your photo - your little lad looked like he was in love with the pig too. They are very high on my list of favourite animals along with hippos and hares!
    @Phoebe - she is Coco Chanel, our newest pig. Rather than playing football I think she was feeling rather lonely, not being with her sisters any more and with our other 3 being a bit mean to her so the ball was her "friend"!
    @JollyJilly - more like worn out from running away from the other pigs who were being rather rotten to her. They have all settled down now I am pleased to say. As I said to Phoebe, I think the ball was her "friend"!

  9. How funny - maybe we should try a football with our pigs on the farm.

  10. @Charly - she may well be guarding her ball or using it to protect herself from the other pigs who were slightly bullying her :( (They've all settled down now).

  12. @Fiona - let me know how you get on! What breed of pigs do you have?

  13. @Kate - she's a Kune Kune, a New Zealand breed and perfect for us. They are smaller than many breeds, eat grass without digging too much and are really friendly so great when we have gite guests in ... and they love a cuddle (the pigs ... I can't vouch for gite guests!. She doesn't have a football name however,, she is called Coco Chanel :)
