Animal Tales - 60

Welcome to Animal Tales, the blog linky that brings together all sorts of animal blog posts from all over the world.  It runs from Tuesday morning thought to Thursday night and showcases a wide range of animal related posts.

Commenting

Could I have a little moan about commenting - I noticed that some people comment less than others and some not at all.  One of the reasons for joining in with #AnimalTales is to get people visiting your blog, reading and enjoying your posts and hopefully adding a comment.  Could I ask then that if you join you comment on my host post, the one post ahead of you and at least one other (more if you have time).  If you are second then can you pop back after it closes on Thursday night and comment on the last person to link up.  That way everyone should get at least one visitor from the linky.  Thank you and moan over.

My Favourites from Last Week

What a great selection we had last week and I loved them all so picking some favourites was really hard.  I'll go for Ersarz Expat's post about her dog Jimmy, Dean's post about when her husband left Doc behind and Rachel's X-rated squirrel because that made me laugh out loud and reminded me if one of our piglets who was affectionately known as Mr BlackBalls!

Over to you now.  Please add your posts below. The posts can be old or new and as varied as the animals who we share our world with. If you tweet with the hashtag #AnimalTales I'll retweet you. Just give me a nudge if I appear to have forgotten you.

Full details of the linky can be found here but can I remind people of a couple of the "rules":
  • Please see note above about commenting.
  • Please can you include my badge (preferably) or a link back to this blog.
  • Pinterest - not a rule but for even greater exposure of your blog post please do join the Animal Tales Pinterest board and pin a picture from your linked posts.
  • Finally if you want to add a sponsored post, review or give-away, please do.

NB - I was having a problem with my other blog in the link below but it is now all working - apologies for earlier.

  2. Such a beautiful piglet, I have to confess I've been a little slack at commenting lately, but I do love checking out other posts in the linky.

This years piglets have now arrived at our allotment site, I can't wait to get down to see them. It's an old post from us this week I'm afraid as still not got back into the blogging habit, it's all about Boris's arrival with us.

    1. Thank you - it was just a general moan as when I commented late last week I saw several posts had nobody from Animal Tales commenting and some people had not commented at all.
How does it work with the piglets at the allotment - are they owned by one person or shared?

    2. They're owned by several plot holders so people take turns feeding them and checking on them as nobody lives on site, always a sad day when they have to leave though as you get to know them and they're always so friendly.

  3. Shame about the commenting I do try to visit all the ones that are linked up when I link up, but I don't always get back to check later. I do try to return any comments though from the linky.
