  3. That's beautiful. We've had a foxglove appear in our garden. My younger son keeps warning us all that it's poisonous!

    1. Ah yes, Digitalis is very poisonous but also has great medicinal value when used correctly as a medicine!

    1. Others were in shade but this one foxglove was bathed in sunshine and looked so fabulous I had to get a picture of it.

  10. Such lovely light in this picture Rosie, you've really captured the essence of early summer. We don't get fox gloves in the south really, the odd one but not many. I remember sticking them on my finger like gloves as a child. One of my very English memories.

    1. They are certainly a flower very associated with England but they also grow in profusion here in Normandy and I love them.
