This is my blog, A Green and Rosie Life, which is all about helping you live life that bit greener without having to build an off-grid log cabin in the woods or knit your own nettle fibre undies! It's about helping you make simple changes that together will make a big difference to our beautiful world and make it a better place for our children.
Yes Sarah. Ben came in and said there were hundreds but this was the best photo of the several photos I took, even though it had fewer birds in it. This morning we woke to our first proper frost so the crows must have been roosting together for warmth.
So do I although we also great some great cloud formations here too. This morning the moon was shining through thin clouds giving what looked like a monochrome sunset ... before dawn!
Me too and there were so many of them. They would all fly in and then something in the roosting plan would upset them so up into the sky they'd go again. They took ages to settle.
What a gorgeous sky. Are those birds coming in to roost in the tops of trees for the evening?

DeleteBrrr that looks wintery, did you see how un-wintery my garden still looks? I guess it is late November now, so it's time....
ReplyDeleteNot yet - reading your posts is on my to do list today ....

Deletei love this shot. we get fruit bats going over at night, screeching and carrying on, as well as lorikeets etc. it can be very noisy at sunset!
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how noisy fruit bats are. These crows were cawing but not particularly loudly.
