This is my blog, A Green and Rosie Life, which is all about helping you live life that bit greener without having to build an off-grid log cabin in the woods or knit your own nettle fibre undies! It's about helping you make simple changes that together will make a big difference to our beautiful world and make it a better place for our children.
Hee hee - these are supplies Simon brought back from the UK. Most are available here in France on the English section in the supermarkets but at rather inflated prices!
Yup - stuff we can get here but is so expensive so we stock up when we go to the UK. Now we can have cheese on toast, beans with our baked potatoes and porridge for breakfast!
I forgot stuffing this time and the boys love it - not bothered with gravy granules though - when you produce your own meat it makes just the best gravy ever!
Yum! Best go get our breakfast sorted, as you've got me hungry now!
ReplyDeleteLOL - we're having pancakes this morning - what about you?
DeleteForaging in Sainsbury's - was that in France or have you been back over to replenish?

DeleteFavourite foods?

DeleteOh I spot some English brands there!
ReplyDeleteYou do indeed - Sainsbury's did rather well out of this shopping trip!
DeleteI dislike packing away groceries just as much as I dislike putting the washing away ;-)
ReplyDeleteI think I dislike putting shopping away slightly less than putting washing away ... but only just. And this was a big lot!
DeleteOoh, pancakes! Hubby makes scrummy choc chip scotch pancakes...
ReplyDeleteIll pass on the marmite tho :(
I love Scotch pancakes with juicy sultanas. We are a total Marmite family but strangely 2 of us don't like chocolate flavoured foods.
DeleteMissing English food?? I am missing French food and the coffee and the wine!
ReplyDeleteThere are a few foods that we do like to bring across The Channel - there really is no French cheese anything like Cheddar!
DeleteIs that a big supply of all things brit? :)
ReplyDeleteYup!!
Deletethat's breakfast sorted :)
ReplyDeletePorridge for breakfast, beans on toast for lunch and lentils for dinner!
DeleteYay! A UK care package, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI like the term "Care Package" ... caring for our tummies!
DeleteBrilliant - My shopping when I go back to the UK looks very similar to this! I just add lots of stuffing and gravy as well.
ReplyDeleteI forgot stuffing this time and the boys love it - not bothered with gravy granules though - when you produce your own meat it makes just the best gravy ever!
DeleteThat looks like an English food run lol x
ReplyDeleteIndeed, indeed - we should be well stocked up for a while with this lot!
DeleteMuch needed supplies from England - enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThank you Fiona - we will. One tin of spaghetti has already gone!
DeleteAh, the marmite (and comments) gave it away.
ReplyDeleteWe may have lived in France for over 6 years but our taste buds still hanker for *some* British foods!
DeleteOhh enjoy! Lots of goodies there....
ReplyDeleteThank you - we will. Shall it be cheese on toast first or a Marmite sandwich? Decisions decisions!
Deletelots of british goodies! i have to take random stuff for my parents all the time too x
ReplyDeleteYes - supplies are in! Sometimes our guests ask if we'd like anything bring over - we can usually think of something! Where abouts are your parents?
