Animal Tales 49

Welcome to Animal Tales, the blog linky that brings together all sorts of animal blog posts from all over the world.  It runs from Tuesday morning thought to Thursday night and showcases a wide range of animal related posts.

Piglet News

I can't quite believe the piglets are now a month old and nor can I believe how much they are growing!  Here they are at a day old:

And look at them now at 4 weeks old!  Usually at this time of year the pigs are all in their inside quarters otherwise their pointy little toes make such a muddy mess in the grass paddocks.  This autumn  has been incredibly dry and so we managed to let Coco and her brood out in a small paddock for a while.  They had a whale of a time.

Last week

Thank you to everyone who linked up last week. I loved reading them all but one post stood out for me.  Any ideas which one??!!  Hippos in the Pilansberg Park in South Africa, of course.  Yes -

HIPPOS!!

I may have to admit to doing a happy hippo dance round the front room.  Oh and Chickenruby sent me these hippos on Twitter.

Over to you now.  Please add your posts below. The posts can be old or new and as varied as the animals who we share our world with. If you tweet with the hashtag #AnimalTales I'll retweet you. Just give me a nudge if I appear to have forgotten you.

Full details of the linky can be found here but can I remind people of a couple of the "rules":
  • Please can you comment on at least 2 other blogs linked up - that is, after all the whole purpose of joining a linky to find and comment on more blogs and hopefully drive traffic back to your blog.
  • Please can you include my badge (preferably) or a link back to this blog.
  • Pinterest - not a rule but for even greater exposure of your blog post please do join the Animal Tales Pinterest board and pin a picture from your linked posts.
  • Can I remind people not to add sponsored posts or paid-for reviews.  Eco-Gites of Lenault has no advertising on it and I am not comfortable promoting products or companies I know nothing about.

    1. Ha ha - LOTS of food plus Coco's lovely milk. Despite cramming her full of as much food as she can eat, she is getting quite thin. She'll put the weight back on when they are weaned though but shows what a good Mum she is.

    1. Definitely thriving and whilst runty might be small he is one of the fastest. I'm glad I sexed him at a day old as with his hair and speed, I'd struggle to do it now!
