Animal Tales 41

Welcome to Animal Tales, the blog linky that brings together all sorts of animal blog posts from all over the world.  It runs from Tuesday morning thought to Friday night and showcases a wide range of animal related posts.

Photos from the week

We have had some lovely light to take photos this week, including cows in the early morning mist, hungry pigs trying to climb their gate and this picture I snapped of Saari outside the gite.  We don't have anyone in at the moment and I think she is hoping we may have some guests arrive soon ... with some canine friends for her to play with!

Thank you to everyone who joined in last week.  We seemed to have our fair share of possibly less than friendly animals link up including angry hornbills, overly playful monkeys, potentially leg breaking ostriches and swamphens with massive beaks to crush frogs!

So over to you now.  Feel free to come and add your animal related posts to the linky below.  The posts can be old or new and as varied as the animals who we share our world with.  If you tweet with the hashtag #AnimalTales I'll retweet you.  Just give me a nudge if I appear to have forgotten you.

Full details of the linky can be found here but can I remind people of a couple of the "rules":

  • Please can you comment on at least 2 other blogs linked up - that is, after all the whole purpose of joining a linky to find and comment on more blogs and hopefully drive traffic back to your blog.
  • Please can you include my badge (preferably) or a link back to this blog.
  • Pinterest - not a rule but for even greater exposure of your blog post please do join the Animal Tales Pinterest board and pin a picture from your linked posts.
  • Can I remind people not to add sponsored posts or paid-for reviews.  Eco-Gites of Lenault has no advertising on it and I am not comfortable promoting products or companies I know nothing about.

  1. Thank you so much Rosie for the special mention! Poor Saari, I'm sure she will have some friends to play with soon.

    1. A pleasure - we have a friend's 2 spaniels staying later this week and her new best friend is coming for 2 weeks in October ... but she'd still love to meet some new dogs who come with gite guests.

  2. Hi Rosie, your Saari looks a lot like our little dog Zippy did when we had he bar. She was everyone's best friend and would sit waiting for the first customers of the day to come in for breakfast. Needless to say by the end of the summer she was a barrel of a dog and it took all winter to walk it off!

    xx

    1. That's funny! Saari is actually much more a dog's dog than a people dog and she is generally scared of new people until she has got to know them. BUt she loves meeting new doggy friends.
