Animal Tales 39

Welcome to Animal Tales, the blog linky that brings together all sorts of animal blog posts from all over the world.  It runs from Tuesday morning thought to Friday night and showcases a wide range of animal related posts.

We have not quite said farewell to Summer yet, here in Normandy, and have had several meals outside including a BBQ.  Saari loves this as she is chief BBQ cleaner, although, I do think that in this photo she is wishing we'd all finish a bit quicker so she can get on cleaning!

Henry, on the other hand, just enjoys chilling in the garden in the late summer sun.

Thank you to everyone who joined in last week - we had a Highland Cow from our regular bird photographer, Red Squirrels at the home of Earl Grey tea and otters in Penang.  What other linkies give you that sort of variety?!  My favourite though had to be Lisa's "Gotcha Day" - if you haven't read it and have no idea what I mean do go and have a nosy.

So over to you now.  Feel free to come and add your animal related posts to the linky below.  The posts can be old or new and as varied as the animals who we share our world with.  If you tweet with the hashtag #AnimalTales I'll retweet you.  Just give me a nudge if I appear to have forgotten you.

Full details of the linky can be found here but can I remind people of a couple of the "rules":

  • Please can you comment on at least 2 other blogs linked up - that is, after all the whole purpose of joining a linky to find and comment on more blogs and hopefully drive traffic back to your blog.
  • Please can you include my badge (preferably) or a link back to this blog.
  • Pinterest - not a rule but for even greater exposure of your blog post please do join the Animal Tales Pinterest board and pin a picture from your linked posts.
  • Can I remind people not to add sponsored posts or paid-for reviews.  Eco-Gites of Lenault has no advertising on it and I am not comfortable promoting products or companies I know nothing about.

  1. I love the idea of chief BBQ cleaner! We are hanging onto summer too though it did poor like a real autumn day yesterday.

    1. She's like the prewash and it makes the final clean so much easier - she is very thorough!

  2. Saari looked so tired, while Henry doesn't care.. which is pretty normal for a royalty. :>

  3. Stella loves to pre-wash and no doubt wishes I had a barbecue; she gets rather frustrated now she's just to big to get in the dishwasher!

Thank you for the lovely mention by the way :)

    1. Saari would no doubt also do the dishwasher pre-wash if we let her!

  4. I'm so sorry I've been missing the party lately (everyone's parties, so don't think it's just Animal tales), it's been a little crazy. Poor Saari having to wait so long for you all to finish.
